About Video Reverse Search

Video Reverse Search (videoreversesearch.com) is a reverse video search tool. You give it a clip, a TikTok or YouTube link, or a screenshot; it pulls keyframes in your browser, matches them against pages in the web index and lists every page that shows them, with the earliest dated upload flagged.

We built it because search engines index images, not whole videos, and checking a clip by hand means screenshotting frame after frame and pasting each one into a search engine. The tool does the repetitive part and merges the results.

What we do and don’t do

• Your video is decoded in your browser and is never uploaded to us.
• Frames you choose to search are sent to Google Cloud Vision for matching and then discarded.
• We don’t download, re-host or remove watermarks from anyone’s videos.
• We don’t scrape platforms or build a library of other people’s content.
• We don’t offer face search or identify people.
